History

Dog that changed my life in 1992 was Tal. He was my first Siberian Husky dog. Since he was so exceptional, husky-breeders still remember him as one of the most successful champions. His show career was finished in 1995, since he did not perform up to my standards. I am sure I will never again have a husky of such a character.

My next dog was in 1993, and it only reinforced my desire to become a breeder. It was Saba from Srbobran, blue-eyed, grayish-white, completely zany bitch. However, great changes in my private life and moving into flat, made me try to change breed of dogs. I needed a guard dog, which huskies are not. Tal stayed with me until 1995, and Saba went to Kragujevac in 1996, to live with my good friend.

As a "husky replacement" dog, I acquire Japanese Akita – Taca - Big Boss Tao of Hasaki Team. He is 10.5 years old now, lives with 7-10 more huskies and even guards them when we go on the expedition on Zabljak. His show career (while it lasted) was very good, and he did much to popularize this lovely race. Alas, there are many Akitas in wrong hands, so people think wrong of them.

At the time when I exhibitioned Taca, I frequently saw polar-dogs. Some I knew from before and some were new to me. One acquaintance of mine said: "Once a husky, always a husky!" She was so right! Apparently, in March of 1998, Ljiljana Stojkovic flies in from France to Belgrade, unfortunately (or fortunately, even) hotels in our capital do not allow pets aboard. She asked me to help, and I took her in, with all her colleagues and their dogs.

That very same year, I got Krona – One Light Kiss de la Vallee de Morava, my first excellent bitch, with perfect pedigree and of very rare, pinto variety. It was the Ljiljana's way to thank me for helping her in the time of her need. Krona is now a pillar of my breeding, because Vallee de Morava (In the valley of Morava) is the most trophy-awarded kennel in the whole France for years. Therefore, it begins our great cooperation. My first litter, of pure French-Belgium pedigree, by Krona and old Oki is still present in all my pedigrees, because that type of head is very rare. I kept Kala out of that litter.

In 2000, I received from France my new bitch Romi – Romance de la Vallee de Morava. She is so far my most awarded bitch.

New dog, Jupi – Up 'n' Running de la Vallee de Morava reaches me in 2003.

Meanwhile, we have two more dogs from France, Oki – Virgin de la Vallee de Morava and Pearly – Velvet's Glance de la Vallee de Morava. Oki is an exceptional specimen. His character and looks are enchanting. He is also great in breeding. We hope that his litters will be renowned, since he is the most sought after, not only in this country, but also abroad. One lovely bitch, Magic Red (pup from Oki - Virgin de la Vallee de Morava and Bleki - Mystic Black Eye) went to Russia, while her sister Moca - Merilin Monroe we decided to keep.

By kindness of Vuk Bojovic, Belgrade Zoo general manager, we acquired a Rhodesian Ridgeback Zulu – L-Shaka Zulu. So far, he is our pet, but we plan to start his show-dog career. Their character enthralls us, so we will keep you informed about this wonderful breed.

Cordially,

RED MIST
